About SJP: St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation
St. James's Place Charitable Foundation
Money has the power to change lives, but real change happens through people. That’s why the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation has been supporting those in need since 1992, funding small and medium-sized charities that make a real difference in their communities.
So far, the Foundation has raised over £139 million, helping millions of people across the world. Its mission is simple: everyone deserves the opportunity to prosper, not just the wealthy few.
The Foundation focuses its grant-making on four key areas:
- Children and young people: Supporting those with physical or learning disabilities and those facing disadvantage
- Hospices: Helping provide comfort and care for those with life-limiting illnesses
- Cancer support charities: Funding vital services for individuals and families affected by cancer
- Mental health: Backing charities that provide crucial mental health support
Most of these grants go to smaller charities – organisations that may not be in the public eye but play a vital role in their communities.

It's never too early to start planning a secure future for you or your family. Whatever your goals, we're here to guide you every step of the way.
